| Based in: london I paint still-lives of fruit. My compositions are based upon aerial photographs taken using natural light to create dramatic shadows, therefore exploring my main interests of space, colours and texture. I especially enjoy the colour and texture of the inside of fruits (seed, pips, etc.), pomegranates being a good example. Oil paint is particularly suitable for recreating the rich and voluptuous nature of fruit.
Influences include the human figure, architecture and urban environment, environment and ecology, own gender (female), still life.
