WILL MY ARTWORK ARRIVE FRAMED OR UNFRAMED?
When art shown in our gallery has already been framed it is clearly described as framed. Most of our art is unframed and again it is clearly described as such. Occasionally, large format artworks will arrive packaged in a reinforced large-diameter tube. If you would like advice about framing your artwork, we can help, simply contact us. At august.uk.com we can help you find a recommended framer and are happy to provide information about frame specifications for different artworks.

IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN KNOW MY ART IS AUTHENTIC?
We have a personal relationship with the artists who are featured in our gallery. We ensure that artwork is the actual work of the artist. In the case of limited edition prints, prints will be signed and numbered by the artist. However in some cases, where the artist is deceased for example, other forms of authentication will be provided. All artworks usually arrive with an august.uk.com document of endorsement.

WHY AM I HAVING PROBLEMS ORDERING FROM THE SITE?

WHAT IF ARTWORK ARRIVES WITH ME DAMAGED?
In the unlikely event that your delivered artwork is damaged in any way, you must inform us immediately by telephoning 01892 722066. We will then guide you through your options. These may include replacing the damaged work (in the case of limited edition prints), credit towards another purchase, or a full refund. If you do not inform us immediately this will create difficulty. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

WHAT IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE FOR SOME REASON AND WANT TO RETURN IT?
We offer you your money back within seven days of delivery* if you are unhappy with your purchase, however we will not pay for delivery and despatch and that will be deducted from your refund. *In all cases individual circumstances will be reviewed and in order for a refund to be made you must telephone us on 01892 722066 from the first instance and a refund will be offered at our discretion. However, under no circumstances will our liability exceed the value of the initial payment received. If you are unhappy with the artwork you have received we will normally accept its return provided that it is in perfect condition, as it left the gallery. The artwork will be examined when returned and when we are satisfied that its condition is as it left the gallery, then a refund will be made. Please note that despatch and delivery costs will not be refunded in any circumstances. These will be paid by you and will be deducted from the cost of any refund. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Once the order leaves our location, delivery time within the UK usually takes between four and seven days. For deliveries outside of the UK, we will email you a time depending on your location. Once your order has been shipped we will email you details of how to track the order online.
